104 - First Pass - On my way to Paris

Another crazy week and I have to finish this weeks assignment in the next few hours because I will be in Paris until monday. Yeah - I know .. you don’t leave you computer while at AnimationMentor .. but I planned that trip long before I even got accepted at AM. Anyway :-)

In this week I’ve learned a ton about timing, weight, inertia, gravity, momentum, accerlation, deceleration, keys, breakdowns, slow-in/out, spacing, observation .. and in this weeks class with Carlos we had the chance to take a close look at the “Carlos Baena Observation Glance”.

Another highlight was this weeks “FrameGrabbers Session” where we analyzed a shot from “The Incredibles” with Victor Navone (based on his thumbnails, reference videos - Jack Nicholson, the Shining - and his blocking and polishing playblasts that he provided). Is THAT cool or what?? Yeah!
