And my new Mentor is .. Raquel Coelho - Raquel was born in Brazil. While in Brazil, she immersed herself in all different types of art. She moved to New York and became addicted to computer animation having worked in studios such as Blue Sky Studios, PDI/Dreamworks, Wildbrain, Laika Studios. She is currently at Tippett Studio in Berkley, CA.

Finally there it is, Class Three “Introduction to Acting”. The moment we have all been waiting for since we started Animationmentor six months (yes, it’s been that long) ago. Up until now I have been learning many of the important concepts that go into bringing believable movement to my characters. Animation is much more than simply movement.
In this class I will learn how to make my characters come to life and have a truly believable performance on screen. I will learn about the basics of acting and half way through the next three months there is the “holy grail” waiting for me .. “Animating a line of dialogue”.

My new class is again filled up with incredible talented people from Germany, France, Romania, Spain, South Africa, United Arab Emirates and Turkey which I’m eager to meet.
