Workflow and speed is always a big issue in animation. Those three scripts helped me a lot to make it through class three.
Delete Redundant Keys by Lluis Llobera
This script will delete the “redundant” keys in the curves seen in the Graph Editor, or else in the whole scene if no curves are seen in the GE. “Redundant” keys are those which are not useful for the changes in the animation – i.e. consecuteive flat keys with the same value, stepped keys, and so on.
Auto Tangent by Michael Comet (congrats for being hired by pixar!!)
Animation utility for nicely smoothing tangents but without overshoot.
Tween Machine by Justin Barrett
The purpose of the tweenMachine is to greatly simplify the process of creating breakdown poses between key poses.
If you know some useful scripts (I’m searching for some camera switch scripts) let me know.
