Does this make sense to anybody else?

Kenny Roy speaks up:

I just find this amazing, and I don’t like it, and I think it should be different.
Animating is acting. Plain and simple. Find an animator that thinks otherwise, I dare you. So why are animators not credited for thier performance, the way actors are? And why is animation considered ‘work for hire’, bereft of the honor of individual contribution? Finally, what is so different from acting that animators are never given high profile accolades, royalties, and the like?

Does this make sense to anybody else?
