Welcome. This is the fist blocking pass I did last week. I spent much (MUCH) time on the first shot just to figure out which kind of walk I’d like to have but right now I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Already got my e-critique (Sean r-o-c-k-s) and I know that there are a view things not working very well. Obviously the cam movement on the last shot (!!) but also some staging problems (too much negative space). After the time I put into it I’m very happy that Sean approved my acting choices and gave his OK for the 2nd pass. And this is what I’m working on right now:
- work on staging
- come up with a solution for the last shot (cam movement yes?/no?)
- breakdowns, arcs
- facial poses, expressions
Great work here! I can tell, even though the vids are not working. You expressions read really well. Keep posting:)
